Conclusion

This is not a complete list of all earthquake structural damage which may be present in your home. We have tried to focus your attention on the more expensive damage. Consultation with a professional engineer, or architect or a licensed general contractor is worth the investment if you have cause to believe that you have experienced structural earthquake damage.

Some other things to consider:

Do foundation cracks have structural significance?

"Cosmetic" cracks.

Epoxy repairs in unreinforced concrete or masonry.
