Public Insurance Adjusters in general:

  1. Work for the insured/consumers, not for the insurance companies.
  2. Are professionally licensed in many states. Check with your State Insurance Department to see if licensing is required in your area.
  3. Are knowledgable about the way insurance companies settle claims.
  4. Are experienced in the claims process.
  5. Only get paid when you get paid.

The professional Public Insurance Adjusters who we will attempt to locate and negotiate with in your behalf must certify that:

  1. They are properly licensed.
  2. They will, at your request, provide you with a list of references to other customers they have served.
  3. They will maintain a high level of service to you.

If they don't agree to these standards we suggest that you do not use their services!

We will attempt to locate and negotiate in your behalf with Public Insurance Adjusters who will agree to:

Review your insurance policy(ies).
Estimate structural damage to your property.
Inventory and prepare a properly organized presentation of any personal property that was damaged.
Review the estimates the insurance company may have done.
Review any settlement agreements the insurance company may have entered into with you.
Reopen the claim -- if already settled and it appears that you did not receive what you are owed.
Fill out and prepare all required insurance forms.
Handle all communications with the insurer and its representatives, in your behalf.
Carry on negotiations with the insurer to obtain all the benefits you bought and paid for.
Bear the out-of-pocket costs involved in this process, unless otherwise agreed to, in advance, by you.

They will often provide all of the services listed above at NO CHARGE TO YOU, except for the payment of a negotiated percentage of the money they actually obtain for you from the insurance company.

Experienced professional Public Insurance Adjusters know more about how insurance companies act to limit their claims payouts to you. They also know more about what you are entitled to. In most instances these experienced professionals are able to get significantly better settlements than you can without their help.

It's their business.

Public Insurance Adjusters can be an important part of your team, but they also have their limitations. They are rarely, if ever, able to get you everything to which you are entitled.

Sooooooooo...

To get everything to which you are entitled - No More, But No Less - you will usually also need an Attorney and a team of other professionals.
